CREATIVITY INTERNATIONAL DESIGN AWARDS
BRONZE AWARD FOR HAZTEK’S BROCHURE SERIES

HazTek’s Regional Safety Brochures series, designed by Director of Marketing + Design E. June Ellaway-Lunn, was selected for a Bronze Award in the 47th Annual Creativity International Design Awards. The brochures use playful copywriting to illustrate how well our organization understands the regions that we serve.

HazTek Cincinnati brochure cover Page 1 LRThe Creativity Awards are one of the longest running, independent advertising and graphic design competitions. Entries came from 28 countries, 2 Canadian Provinces and 20 U.S. States. The work was evaluated on excellent creative design including presentation, color, copywriting, typography, photography, message, layout, and relevance to the category. HazTek shares the ranks with such industry leaders as PepsiCo, Mercedes, Viacom, A+E television, Porsche, and the Audubon Society.

AMERICAN GRAPHIC DESIGN AND ADVERTISING
TWO AWARDS OF DISTINCTION

HazTek’s “Silica Rule Standards” brochure and “It’s About Lives” print ad were both selected for Awards of Distinction in the American Graphic Design and Advertising Awards 31 competition. The winning work, also designed by E. June Ellaway-Lunn, is featured in a new full-color, hardcover book that was just released in November 2018.

The American Graphic Design & Advertising (AGDA) Award Competition has become a mainstay in the recognition of branding excellence. Receiving tens of thousands of submissions, and selecting no more than 30% of entries, AGDA is known as the premier showcase for the best graphic design and advertising in America. AGDA’s Award of Distinction indicates that the honored work exceeds industry standard in both concept and execution. Other awardees include Amtrak, MIT, the Newport Art Museum, Chrysler, Aetna, and the National Archives.
